Horizon Organic Reduced Fat Milk, 8-Ounce Aseptic Cartons (Pack of 18)

I bought this to put in my kids' school lunches (during Feb when they had the $10 online coupon so a case was only $15 with free shipping). My daughter does not like and will not drink regular milk but she tried this and loves it. Now she has one in her school lunch everyday and I feel good that she is getting the calcium/nutrition a young girl needs. I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 because someone told me it has a little sugar in it. True, I'd rather that weren't the case but to me its worth it to have my child drinking it.

I travel quite often for business. The milks are perfect for my cereal in the morning (I bring my own) and for tea and coffee. I don't have to worry about refrigeration. My daughter uses them for her child when not at home.

Useful for earthquake supplies, and to keep in case you run out of the regular stuff. The taste is excellent, superior to some brands of "fresh" milk. Amazon's price leaves something to be desired.

This only has a shelf life of a few months. Why does the Chocolate milk have a shelf life of a year and the reduced fat milk (non chocolate) have a shelf life of 4 month.

It seems quite a few people are buying it for backup usage and there are only a few months to use it.

My son loves these and will often grab one over a juice or soda. Perfect for a "grab-n-go". Nice size for lunch boxes or to toss in a bag. My son gets a big kick out of the "telescoping" straw!
