Braun 8000 360 Complete Foil and Cutter Block for Models 8995, 8985 and 8975

What a difference new blades make. I'm getting a closer shave now and the ctter is easier to clean in between deep cleansings.

Well made replacement blade and foil. A little pricey, but then all the replacement blades and foils are pricey.

Great blade. Just be sure to get the ones made by Gillette as they are wider and seem to give a better shave.

The Braun 360 system 8995 is good but not superb. I don't like the triple blades on the Norelco systems I've used in the past. My last shaver was a Remington MS3 and it worked great. The battery got old and wouldn't hold a charge. I upgraded to the Braun. The cleaning system is wonderful. I tap out after a shave then use the cleaning system ever other day which is more than sufficient. It takes me about 2:30 for a complete shave, under the chin and the underside of the jawline are toughest to get real close. I actually think my Remington was a bit closer shave, not to disparage the Braun, but I had hopes of the closest shave ever and it's not quite that.

Following the Braun company recommendation, at the 18th month mark, I changed out the screen and blade block. The Gillette blade block was an "upgrade", I can really notice the difference. Further, this was the lowest price for this product that I found.
