Newman's Own® Organics Organic California Raisins, 32-Ounce Bags (Pack of 3)

32 ounces is a lot of raisins and you get three bags of them. The raisins are really fresh and sweet. I think Newmans Own Organic Raisins are high quality and a good buy for snacking right out of the box or in your favorite food.

Well, I liked these raisins really well. The price was good (for organics, which can be outrageous) and the taste was like... well... raisins, but... uhhh... riasinier? I don't know if that's a word, but it sure is a taste AND a texture.

If you are just wondering if you should be tempted to spend a little cash on Newman's Own Organics California Raisins, go ahead and try it. Believe me, you can spend more money on another brand that isn't even half as good. (Oh, and Paul is just so darned cute.)

I agree with the other reviews. These are good raisins. I grew up eating SunMaid, but the last few bags of that brand that I bought were extremely dry. These have been nice and moist, good sized, and fresh. I've had one bag in which the zip-lock seal broke away from the bag, but three other bags worked fine. I recommend giving these a try.

UPDATE: The raisins in the last shipment that I received of these were very dried out and not moist at all. They were not nearly as good as the first lot, and I ended up throwing out one whole bag because it was practically inedible. I'll probably try a bag from the grocery store before ordering in bulk again.

The only problem I have with this product is the packaging. The zip lock doesn't work well. It rips the majority of the time when you open the package. Otherwise the raisins are wonderful and the price is great. I found this to be the most economical package size. D

It's nice to know that something you buy all the time also helps others by Newman giving the profits to charities. Besides that, the Organic Raisins from California are delicious.
