Bob's Red Mill Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder, 26-Ounce Packages (Pack of 4)

I wanted an alternative to what is disguised as milk in the supermarket but I also don't have much faith in the so-called organic milk they sell either. I found Bob's Red Mill on Amazon and have never been sorry we tried it. My family loves this milk, we never run out of milk and it never spoils because it doesn't last that long. It is a challenge to mix, as someone else stated, but I just use my Magic Bullet with all the powder in the first run and it mixes great. Whatever is stuck to the sides comes off in the next whirring of filtered water. Wonderful product. I have also ordered several other Bob's Red Mill products and I am just as pleased with those.

I have no use to reconstitute the milk, which is clearly states can't be done on the package, but I use it in baking breads with fantastic success! Simply weigh (or measure) the appropriate amount into the other dry ingredients, and add water when the recipe calls for milk. Perfect and tender crumb every time!

This non-fat dry milk powder tastes delicious -- much better than the stuff available on the regular grocery shelves, it works great in cooking and baking, and you can't beat the shelf life.

Mixing takes a few minutes, but time worth spent. Tastes great---definately superior to "fresh" skim (non-fat) milk. Love it!

Bob's Red Mill powdered non fat milk is far suprior to the supermarket brand. Perhaps it has more milk solids.
I like it. I prepare a drink with 2/3rds cup of water, 3 tablespoons of powdered milk, 3 tablespoons of no calorie vanilla syrup, and five ice cubes. Put it in my Hamilton Beech mixer and come up with a thick shake. Good source of calcium. My latest bone density test showed an improvement over the one I had done three years ago. I will continue to purchase this item.
