Rapid-Dissolving Tissue Lives Up To It's Name
Yes, it is rapid dissolving. Do not expect it to perform like a thick, plush tissue since it is 1-ply. It is much like the original scott. It will save our septic system, I'm sure! 2007-06-07

Scott Rapid-Dissolving Bathroom Tissue, 1-Ply
It is good to use in a RV. It dissolves must quicker than regular bathroom tissue. I would recommend its use. 2007-05-07

Meh, it's okay.
Maybe I'm biased due to not having plumbing that's very prone to clogging; maybe I'm also somewhat biased due to the fact that I also often use toilet paper as facial tissue in place of Kleenexes (where higher durability might be desired).
The trade-off of the rapid-dissolving feature seemingly is that the paper is REALLY thin...and sometimes it might dissolve before you'd like it to. So, I found myself going through the rolls pretty quickly, probably having been conditioned to use a lot at a time in compensation.
It works, though, especially once you get used to it.

Forfeit a little comfort for flush success.....
This toilet paper will never feel like the cozy stuff that blocks the toilet on a regular basis, but it is a product that feels somewhat better than varieties you find in many public toilets. I am willing to compromise a tiny bit of plush, and save all the hours spent attached to toilet plungers. I do concern myself with any chemicals that are placed into a product that makes it "rapid-dissolve", and will in time, try an environmentaly friendly brand. A great option for family with kids who know no limits for toilet paper usage, and ignore the presence of a plunger. 2007-02-16

if you're tired of clogged toilets
If you live in an old building where the toilet is always getting clogged by your abundant use of regular toilet paper, then this is the brand and variant you should switch to.
Objectively judging it by what it promises (rapidly dissolves...), I'd have to give it five stars. It practically melts as soon as it touches water. Don't expect to be able to use it for mopping water off the sink; you'll just end up with a mess of dissolved tissue.
I'm giving it only four stars, because it's not my favorite toilet paper (that would be Charmin Ultra), but the necessary choice.
