Worthington Low Fat FriChik, 12.5-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)

I am a pretty open minded eater. Who knows, maybe I got a bad batch or a bad can. I couldn't choke down a piece of this stuff! Anybody want 11 cans of Low Fat FriChik?

I have used this product many times in my vegetarian dishes. Several months ago the super market I shopped at stopped carrying it. This cut my vegie dishes in about half. I am thrilled to be able to order it online. I think it is a great product. I could not find anything to replace it that was any good. I also really like Worthington's Vega Links.

Please be aware that the 'Low Fat' variety of this product is NOT the same as the standard 'FriChik'. Whatever is removed to be able to sport the 'Low Fat' moniker makes a world of difference. Standard FriChiks are delicious while the 'Low Fat' variety are drier and less tasty (savory). I hope someone at Amazon will take notice and start offering the standard FriChik.

A great meat substitute - good in oriental stir fry - or with the gravy that comes in the can - served over potatoes. Good on egg noodles.

I just despise this product but everyone I know loves it. I think the texture of the lowfat and the regular is just weird.
