I've used Prilosec since 2000 when it was prescription only. It is the only proton pump inhibitor I can use without side effects of some kind. I've tried other prescription PPI medications and they all have caused headache or some other side effect. This product works extremely well for me with no side effects.

I take a Prilosec every day and it completely eliminates my heartburn (I have GERD, a.k.a acid reflux). I do not have any side effects though occasionally I will need to take a Tums or Rolaids if I eat something especially greasy or acidic right before bed. Overall, great product!

prilosec otc works great for me. i had really bad acid reflux and acid indigestion and this product takes care of it. excellent

My husband suffered all the time - horribly - even prescription medicines did not work for him! This is the only thinkg that has worked. He takes it at night before he goes to bed and he is fine!
