Warning: may contain arsenic
I used to eat a lot of Tinkyada pasta until I read that rice grown in the US South may contain high levels of arsenic. According to Tinkyada, their rice is grown in Arkansas. I emailed them to find out if they had tested their rice for arsenic. I never received a reply. Their website does not address the issue either. Until they print assurances that their rice is safe, I plan to avoid all their products.

Lundberg rice, which is grown in California, is safe from arsenic according to the company.

Thank Goodness!!!
This pasta is so good. I have served it several times to non-GF guests and no one can tell that it's gluten free. Do keep in mind though that it is only 12 oz (the non-organic comes in a 16 oz bag). For my family of four (2 being small children), one bag is barely enough to feed us all.

Excellent Wheat/Gluten Free Alternative (Egg Free Too)
This is a tasty alternative for gluten sensitive people. Even my son with no sensitivities enjoys these noodles....Best ever purchased...

TERRIFIC!
This is by far the best gluten free pasta. Tastes great and is as close to regular wheat spaghetti as you can get! Cooks perfect every time.

Oh my goodness-best non-wheat pasta ever!!!
I ordered these because of all the reviews here on amazon, and everyone was right: these really are delicious. They beat other whole grain noodles, including whole wheat noodles, by a mile. The texture is a bit denser and chewier than regular noodles, but still wonderful--not gummy or rubbery. (My husband actually prefers their texture to regular noodles, while I find them equally good.) And there's no powerful "healthy" flavor to throw off your recipes. Excellent. Highly recommended!
