Libby's Roast Beef With Gravy, 12-Ounce Can (Pack of 8)

I was hesitant to try canned meat from Brazil but one evening, after a very long day, i grabbed a can and added it to Ramen noodles and some frozen mixed vegetables for a quick dinner....well, it was pretty good ! The meat is lean and adaptable to any cuisine...stews, stir fry, even a nice carne guisada [just place the beef in a pan with some olive oil and onion powder, garlic powder, and "comino"(cumin)...break up the meat a little and stir until well combined and serve with cheese, salsa and tortillas...pretty good!] oh, it is my understanding that these 12 ounce cans of beef from Brazil are packaged under several labels...Walgreen's often has the Hormel beef for only $2 a can.

This is a very nice product--the meat is very lean, and it is versatile for use in many recipes. Since it is easy to store and fully prepared from the can, I consider it good to maintain on hand for emergency use, as well.

This is a Brazilian product and is very good and price competative. I recommend that you at least try it some time.

Libby Roast Beef with Gravy is a wonderful item to keep on hand for those days when you're down to next-to-nothing in the pantry and you need some real food for dinner! If you've got veggies and a potato or rice, you've got a complete meal.

If you're worried about hurricane season, this is a wonderful item to have on hand. Just make sure all of your can openers aren't electric!
