Hershey's Crisp Butter Toffee Skor Bits

I have had the hardest time finding SKOR bits. This is just what I was looking for!

These are the real deal, much superior (in my opinion) to the Heath toffee chips. I use them in toffee-walnut-chocolate-chip cookies (or alternatively, pecan) and they are just wonderful. My only complaint would be that the shipping $$ seemed a little high.

My fiance makes some absolutely wonderful toffee bit cookies and you no longer can find just the toffee bits in stores. So, I went on line to see if I could find them and lo and behold... there they were. I was elated at my good fortune to have found them. I have begrudgingly ordered them twice since that time. Not because I have found any fault with the product or with the quickness of delivery.... but because of feeling of being ripped off every time I ordered them by the outragious shipping and handling charge. It all but doubled the cost of the transaction. There was no choice of a cheaper shipping option available. My total bill for 6 lbs. of bits was around $36. Yeah... that's about $6 a pound.... but they're some really good cookies.

This product is no longer available in small packages but can be used in 1 3/4 cup amounts. This is a very tasty product and makes the finest cookies ever made.

These little bites of toffee candy are a great addition to cookies,
cakes, and other desserts. They add a sweet, buttery taste and
are much better than Heath Bar Bits. The only problem is that
these large packages are missing the recipes that were on the
small packages that used to be available in the grocery stores.
