Clorox ReadyMop Starter Kit (Case of 4)

I really enjoy the convenience of this mop. It also fits in most of the nooks and crannies that I couldn't with my other mop. I like the wipes because you can throw them away instead of washing. I also like the fact that the wipes come dry and I can use my own solution.

Every single time you want to use this thing you have to get a little needle, find the tiny spouts on the cleaner tube and poke around until they are clear again.....the cleaner clogs them up solid......after about 3 or 4 times I chucked the whole thing and bought an old fashioned o-cedar sponge mop........no muss, no clogs, always ready....

This product is fabulous! While it is true you cannot use it for heavy duty cleaning, it is worth its weight in gold! I have a tiny dog with an even tinier nervous bladder, and the clorox mop is a sanity saver. As a child care provider I have found it to be wonderful for cleaning the after-lunch mess from beneath the children's tables and high chairs. For those people who think it is bad for the environment, it is just the opposite. the bottle is refillable, and you can use washable rags instead of creating waste with the pads. However, I definitely think the refills are worth the extra headache and money!!

I have tile floors in the kitchen and bath. The mop works pretty good when the pad is new, which is about 30 seconds. As soon as the pad is wet with the cleaning solution the problems begin. The sides get too wet and the middle of the pad doesn't really touch the floor unless you use a lot of pressure. Then you will hear scraping sounds. You can not scrub anything off the floor with these pads or pick up crumbs. It is ok for a quick wipe up. If you have a larger floor stick to the traditional sponge mop and bucket.
