Make your own, this isn't worth it
I didn't read the ingredients or directions before I bought this and all it really is, is confectioners sugar and butter. Don't bother with this mix, just buy confectioners sugar and butter.

Oh-so-good!
My son has many food allergies & we rely on Cherrybrook kitchen for awesome birthday cakes! This icing is SO FANTASTIC. However, we don't use butter/margarine. Instead, I use Spectrum Organic Vegetable Shortening. The frosting has a super-light flavor, reminiscent of Oreo cream! Yum! Can't wait to try the chocolate.

need to eat
I just made this frosting. I had been afraid to buy a case after reading the review. So I paid 7.00 for one box to give it a try. I used real butter , and real vanilla and what I got was a bakery style butter cream frosting.. it was very good... it was not canned frosting ,and not full of ingredients that I cannot identify ..best of all no wheat or gluten..... and I did buy a case. It is nice to have something I do not have to make from scratch ...

Yummy!
This frosting is GREAT! It tastes good and has a wonderful consistency IF you use room temp margerine and mix for a little longer than stated. It actually tastes almost fluffy. The vanilla is good...but the chocolate is the best I've every had HANDS DOWN and I have no allergies! This product is a easy and convient for those of us who have children with food allergies, and all his friends enjoyed it at school.

HAVE SOME FROSTING WITH YOUR BUTTER
I found this frosting pretty disgusting. And I'm not one to be very likely to put the words "frosting" and "disgusting" in the same sentence. It ended up tasting mainly like butter. When I scraped it off into the sink, it just stayed in one clump and wouldn't even rinse down the sink very easily (like you'd expect from butter). And even if you like the taste of a bunch of butter on your cake, save yourself some money. The only ingredients in this mix are powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. You can buy all those very cheaply and still add all the butter the directions call for (2.5 sticks!). Gross!
