Chebe Bread Cheese Bread Mix, 7.5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 8)

In general, Chebe (gluten-free) bread mixes are an excellent choice for rolls and pizza dough. The main ingredient is tapioca starch which makes them especially chewy for those gluten-intolerant people that dearly miss a good chewy bread with a tough crust. I have used a variety of the Chebe mixes many times. The problem is that I wanted the original bread mix, which is what the title indicates it to be, but it is actually the cheesy bread mix. Upon arrival, the Chebe carton indicated what I wanted, but the interior was the wrong mix, and now I see that the picture is the cheesy mix and the title is the plain mix... Sheesh. Anyway, I wrote Amazon about this little mixup and they immediately refunded my money but that is not what I really wanted, I wanted them to correct the mixup so that I would get what I ordered next time around. Who knows if they did nor not, but now I won't order this product because I want the original bread mix and am not looking for a refund when I get the wrong product. Sorry to be so long winded. Again, Chebe itself is an excellent product. And who knows, the products may be the same thing but in different packages... Just saying.

After trying many different types of gluten free breads and mixes, I love Chebe! It's very easy to prepare, is versatile and tastes unique but great. If you're wanting something light and fluffy, Chebe is probably not it, but if you are missing the days of chewy great bread, Chebe fits the bill. The fact that it's nice and chewy, and not dry and crumbly is a great appeal.
