Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs - Superb
This is the 2nd time that I've order Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs Dishwasher Detergent, Original Scent, 32-Count Bags (Pack of 5) - these little packets are so easy to use and my dishes sparkle! It's less expensive than the grocery store and they're shipped directly to my house! I'll order them again when I get down to one bag.

First product to battle soap build-up
This is a wonderful product. Not only does it clean the dishes, it has also gradually degunked our dishwasher from years of hard water soap build up. I used to have to disassemble and clean filters and spray wands no matter whether I used liquid or powder. Now, the dishwasher is clean, the filter doesn't clog up, and the dishes look better. Wish I'd found this solution sooner.

Work as described.
I feel pretty bizarre writing a review for soap. It works as described, and the price is better than in the grocery stores.

Side note: These come in a plastic pouch that dissolves in water. That means that you should not handle them with wet hands, and you should not tear the plastic. Simply put the pouch in, and it takes care of itself.

This is clearly written on the packing, but I know not everyone will read it.

Great product, high pricing
I have a miele washer and these are essential and effective. But after ordering these from amazon at a unit price of 6.74 each 32-count bag I found the same item for 3.99 at my local Supermarket... so keep shopping around before settling for this 'deal'...

Best Dishwasher Detergent EVER!
I suspect that those who have not had good luck with these have the heat setting on their home water heaters set too low or the water heating apparatus in their dishwashers doesn't heat the water hot enough to adequately dissolve dishwasher products (leave aside what this must mean about whether their dishes are sufficiently cleaned in too-cool water!).

I've been washing dishes for more than 30 years and have done so by hand and with any number and type of dishwashers (even old portable dishwashing machines!). I've used every type and kind of dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent you can imagine. These Cascade Action Pacs are the best thing I've ever used--the are convenient, prevent waste (just how much dishwasher detergent SHOULD you add for an extra dirty load?--no worries here--one "pod" cleans as many really dirty dishes as I care to put into my top-of-the-line Kenmore dishwasher), get everything sparkling clean without pre-washing or rinsing, and smell great.

Again, if these aren't working for you, I suspect you aren't using hot enough water in your dishwasher (a fact that should trouble you re the cleanliness of your kitchen) or you aren't running a long enough cycle--it doesn't pay to run a short cycle--if you are worried about wastefullness, or environmental impact, wait until the the thing is completely full and then run the maximum cycle using the pots and pan scrub and sani-dry, features, etc.--you won't be disappointed with the results of this product and you will have peace of mind that you are really getting your dishes clean--a fact very important to your family's health.
