Good, but equally to other EnerG
We have been GF for 12 years, so we have had some bad and some really bad. This is not bad; in fact, this is good bread, which I ordered based on the rave reviews here. It is good, but no better than other EnerG breads that you can find at local stores, namely Tapioca. I was also surprised that it is MUCH browner than the picture. I think for kids this would be a big turnoff. It is kind of unappetizing. (not flecked brown, like whole wheat, just a sickly tannish brown.) It does NOT look like this picture. That's where the white rice or tapioca versions would be better, as they are lighter. I believe this brown rice version is healthier than others, so DO get it if you want some variety in your GF diet.
So it's good, just don't go out of your way to get it if taste is your main concern.

JENSTONE
This bread is like the gluten free version of white bread. The loaf is about half the size of your typical supermarket white. It had no unpleasant taste you might fear of a gluten free bread. It tastes great as toast or french toast.

Ener-G Light Brown Rice Bread
Ok for gluten free. The bread is well packaged to stay fresh. The loaves are pretty small (both the size of the slice and number of slices per bag). They are great for toast and OK for a sandwich. I think all the GF breads are a bit crumbly :) Cant fold it in half for half a sandwich but pretty good for a regular two piece one. Tastes good too, not as grainy a texture as some of the others a nice "white" bread substitute.

Awesome!!
I have two kids with celiac. This is their favorite bread and we have tried many. Best thing about this bread is that it is squishy and soft, unlike most gluten free breads. This is the closet bread we have found to "regular" bread.

Light GF Breads
Since discovering the light version of Ener-G's gluten free packaged breads, I won't ever go back to eating the heavier versions. I made up a batch of garlic bread using GF tapioca bread for a party and everyone gobbled it up! It will never be as good as regular wheat based bread, but, it is pretty darn close!
